Podcast

I am not a podcast producer nor have I appeared on any podcasts, however, those who know me personally know that I am a passionate podcast listener. I listen to them as a means to feed my curiosity, broaden my knowledge, and learn about science and human psychology.

Because I'm asked sometimes about podcast recommendations, I have decided to make a list of the top podcasts I listen to:

Radiolab: A radio show and podcast presenting stories and science into sound and music-rich documentaries.

Hidden Brain: The Hidden Brain helps curious people understand the world – and themselves. Using science and storytelling, Hidden Brain's host Shankar Vedantam reveals the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior, the biases that shape our choices, and the triggers that direct the course of our relationships.

Death, Sex and Money: A podcast hosted by Anna Sale about the big questions and hard choices that are often left out of a polite conversation

Invisibilia: Unseeable forces control human behavior and shape our ideas, beliefs, and assumptions. Invisibilia—Latin for invisible things— fuses narrative storytelling with science that will make you see your own life differently.

If I Were You Show Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld offer up advice in areas they're qualified to talk about. Also in areas, they're not qualified to talk about! This shows has nothing to do with science!

In mijn hoofd (Dutch): Anke Van Meer tries to learn the sounds of the concept we have in our heads and can't see it like languages and love.

Varsovia Vento (Esperanto)"Warsaw Wind" or "Varsovia Vento" In Esperanto is a monthly podcast recorded in Poland by Irek (Mainly), Agnieszka (Rudzia), Sylwia and sometimes they have more guests, the podcast talks about events, meetups, new songs and interviews with Esperantists from all over the world.
